I am a Generalist Engineer focusing on open source ML. In another life, I was shipping iOS apps, WebRTC, backend systems, working on infra, etc.
I am obsessed with working on the frontier, throughout my career I have always been in the innovation/lab within the company, this is where I thrive. So for the past 2y my mind has been on ML/AI problems.
I train models with PyTorch and deploy them in Rust, I deployed NLP models and LLMs in production. I also like to spend time with data in notebooks and kaggle, but more than anything I like to turn experiments into real products using the right tool for the right job.
